How it all works
Command Centre FAQ
Scheduling, requests, accounts, Discord delivery, Twitch status, and calendar exports—explained in one place.
What is the Hunt Command Centre?
It is the streamers’ shared public schedule and private management area. Each approved streamer controls their calendar, profile, collaborators, booking requests, Discord delivery, and streaming link.
Are times shown in my timezone?
Yes. The website converts UTC event data into the local timezone reported by your browser. Discord schedule messages use Discord timestamps, which Discord also renders in each viewer’s local time.
How do stream-slot requests work?
Choose a streamer, sign in with Discord, select an available start and end time, and submit the request. Occupied time cannot be requested. The selected streamer can approve or decline it; approval creates a confirmed calendar event.
Hunt: Showdown is the default game, but requesters can select another game.
Can I request more than one streamer?
Yes. The first selected streamer acts as the host and approves the request for the group. Hunt: Showdown permits up to two selected streamers plus the requester, matching its trio limit. Requests for another game can select a larger group. Approval creates one shared event across every selected calendar.
How do I become a listed streamer?
Use “Join the roster” from any page. Sign in with Discord and submit an application. Once the owner approves it, you receive your own calendar account and can manage your profile without the owner creating every integration for you.
How do streamer logins work?
An account can use its original username and passphrase, then link Discord from My profile for easier future sign-in. Linking does not replace or erase the existing calendar.
What happens when collaborators are added?
The event appears on every selected collaborator’s calendar. Matching bookings for the same time are combined in the public day-by-day schedule so everyone appears together instead of looking double-booked.
What can the Discord connections do?
Each streamer can connect two channels: a public schedule channel and a private requests-and-reminders channel. Schedule messages update when events change or pass. Reminders before a stream and new booking requests notify the selected streamer privately.
The streamer chooses the channels through Discord and needs Manage Webhooks permission there; webhook URLs do not need to be copied by hand.
What does connecting Twitch do?
It links the permanent Twitch user ID to the calendar account. The site can then refresh the current channel name, URL, profile image, live status, viewer count, category, and live duration. If a Twitch username changes, the saved channel URL follows the same account automatically.
While live, buttons say “Watch stream.” While offline, they say “Go to channel.” Twitch status is cached briefly to keep the site fast and avoid unnecessary API calls.
Can I add a stream to another calendar?
Yes. Every public event provides an Add to Google link and a downloadable .ics file for Apple Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar apps. “Copy Discord time” produces a timestamp that displays locally for Discord readers.
What can the owner manage?
The owner reviews streamer applications, can manage all calendar accounts and events, configures Discord and Twitch application credentials, and can maintain fallback stream links. Individual streamers manage their own profile, Twitch connection, Discord channels, events, collaborators, and requests.
What can streamers add to their profile?
Streamers can choose a directory colour, biography, timezone, typical Monday–Sunday availability, away dates, booking availability, stream link, and an optional usual duo or team. They may also publish Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok, another social or website, and a community Discord invite. Linked teammates receive profile, picture, and channel links wherever they appear as collaborators.
How do I report a problem or request a feature?
Open Contact from the navigation and sign in with Discord. Bug reports, feature requests, and help messages are delivered privately to Shaco’s management channel. The form is rate-limited to reduce spam.
Can the owner or other streamers see my login information?
No. Nobody using the Command Centre—including the site owner—can see your Discord password, Twitch password, or another streamer’s account passphrase. Local passphrases are stored as one-way password hashes, not readable text.
Discord and Twitch authorization happens on their official login pages. The site receives only the linked account identity and permissions needed for the feature; it never receives those service passwords. Private webhook URLs, application secrets, and login details are not displayed on public pages or to other streamers.
What information is public?
Public viewers see enabled streamer profiles, profile details the streamer chose to publish, typical availability, linked channel information, and public calendar entries. Applicant notes, pending requests, away-note management, credentials, webhook URLs, and account controls remain private.
